Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
Travel Consultant
with 3 to 4 years of proven expertise in the
tours and travel industry
, specifically in
sales and itinerary planning
. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of domestic and international travel, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to deliver tailored travel solutions to individual and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries for domestic and international travel packages.
  • Provide end-to-end travel consultation, including itinerary planning, pricing, bookings (flights, hotels, tours), and visa guidance.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective pitching and closing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, destinations, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat and referral business.
  • Coordinate with vendors, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), airlines, and hotels for seamless execution of travel plans.
  • Resolve client queries, complaints, and post-sales issues efficiently.
  • Use CRM tools to maintain records of leads, sales, and client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in travel sales within the tours and travel domain.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international destinations, including visa requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in travel booking tools (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or similar GDS systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple client requirements simultaneously.
