  • Plan, organize, and manage fabric production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Develop and monitor production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of machines and manpower.
  • Coordinate with planning, sourcing, and maintenance teams to ensure material and equipment readiness.

2. Process Management

  • Supervise the complete production process — spinning, weaving/knitting, dyeing, finishing, and inspection (depending on the mill type).
  • Ensure adherence to process parameters, technical specifications, and buyer requirements.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and other process improvement techniques to reduce waste and downtime.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Work closely with the quality control team to maintain product standards and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure production meets ISO, OEKO-TEX, and other industry certifications as required.
  • Conduct regular audits of process control, machine calibration, and operator performance.

4. Team Management

  • Supervise and train production supervisors, operators, and technical staff.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

5. Cost & Efficiency

  • Monitor production costs, material wastage, and machine efficiency (OEE).
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports for management decision-making.

6. Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with R&D, planning, maintenance, and merchandising teams for smooth order execution.
  • Prepare daily and monthly production reports and present to senior management.
  • Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
