Job Description – AM/Manager Logistics and Operations

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end export and import

documentation processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating

with internal teams, freight forwarders, and government agencies. The role requires in-

depth knowledge of advance license procedures, duty drawback claims, shipping bill filing,

SAP operations, and commercial documentation to ensure smooth and timely movement of

goods.

Key Responsibilities


• Export Documentation & Compliance


• Import Documentation


• Use SAP to process sales orders, generate GST-compliant tax invoices, and maintain

transaction records.


• Maintain shipment tracking reports and submit weekly/monthly status updates to

management.


• Coordination & Communication


• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines to ensure smooth

cargo movement.

Required Skills & Competencies


• Strong knowledge of Advance License procedures and DGFT documentation.


• Hands-on experience in Duty Drawback and RODTEP claims.


• Proficiency in Shipping Bill filing via ICEGATE and related portals.


• Skilled in Commercial Invoice preparation for exports.


• Working knowledge of SAP for order processing and invoicing.


• Understanding of Import Bills of Entry and clearance processes.


• Sound knowledge of Indian Customs Rules & Regulations.


• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Experience


• Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).


• 8–10 years of relevant experience in export–import operations.


• Experience in flavor & fragrance, chemicals, or manufacturing industry preferred.
