In this role, you will be responsible for executing and support the end-to-end service delivery for workforce administration (hires, changes, exits, mass transactions, organizational changes), lifecycle services and related processes and tools for GE Vernova. Develop an in-depth understanding of HR systems, processes, and legislative rules. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvement. Promote "Best in Class" service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers improving the employee experience.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Execute the requests/transactions to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner, while ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained, based on compliance with relevant legal and GE Vernova policy requirements.
- Correctly administers workforce and lifecycle services. Manages service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced vendors.
- Resolves issues using established procedures, updating the documentation and implementing operational controls.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between employees and GE Vernova.
- Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Monitor and answer the employee needs ensuring a service delivery according to our internal targets for workforce and lifecycle services.
- Support our businesses with the local regulations and provide inputs about new process design.
- Develop training material to the employees/people leaders ensure the best employee experience and generating productivity, executing the communication strategy considering the internal and external drivers.
- Support the wing to wing onboarding, off boarding and lifecycle processes in the Region.
- Support the workforce administration and lifecycle services process changes/modifications and maintain all related documentation (SOPs, standard work) updated.
- Coordinate and supervise workforce administration and lifecycle activities remaining from merge & acquisitions related projects.
- Vendor management support for background check. Maintain the day-to-day relationship with vendors, including all the sourcing required activities and lead the annual vendor compliance reviews. Support any new vendor implementation for any process related to those processes.
- Help identify and drive continuous improvements by interfacing with the Global Product Team and other regional delivery teams, to help reduce waste, manual work, align to global standards and increase productivity.
- Drive updates to specific content in the HR System within the Workforce & Lifecycle products in the MX + CALA Region.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and GE policy requirements.
- Provide guidance or support on businesses' escalations, providing quick responses, education and/or guidance.
- Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements by interfacing with the Global Product Team and other regional delivery teams, proposing process improvements to reduce waste, manual work, align to global standards and increase productivity.
- Partner with business HR teams to provide education, value-added consultation, employee communication, and other related services.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years process experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits including local regulations in the region countries.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in related area (Business Administration, Human Resources and accountant preferred.
- Experience with vendor management
- Solid understanding of HR Operations, Benefits and Payroll Systems.
