Job Title - IT System Admin

Experience Level: Fresher to 2 years

Work Location - Onsite, Mohali

5 days working (Mon to Fri).

Education Qualifications : Graduate in Computer Science/ Information Security or related field

The IT System & Security Engineer will assist in managing RChilli's IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and operational efficiency across systems and networks.

This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of system administration, IT security, and Linux operations, looking to grow into a well-rounded IT Security professional.

Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Network & Infrastructure Support

2. Assist in configuring and monitoring Unifi (USG) for internet security, VPN, IDS/IPS, and traffic management.

3. Coordinate with Airtel, Connect, and Jio broadband vendors to maintain reliable network connectivity and uptime.
4. Support internal LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, access point configuration, and IP management.

5. Monitor network health, bandwidth usage, and connectivity alerts.

6. System Administration

7. Provide first-level support for IT incidents through the Service Desk Tool.

8. Maintain asset inventory, patching schedules, and software installations using ManageEngine Endpoint.
9. Support setup, maintenance, and monitoring of workstations, laptops, and peripherals.

10. Use Prey Inc. for endpoint tracking and device recovery.

11. Linux Administration

12. Work with Linux-based systems for server administration and troubleshooting.

13. Perform basic command-line operations (e.g., user management, file permissions, log analysis, cron jobs, networking commands).
14. Support monitoring and maintenance of servers hosted on GCP or AWS platforms.

15. Assist in applying patches, backups, and security hardening.

16. Security & Access Management

17. Assist in managing 1Password for secure credential storage and rotation.

18. Maintain user access, MFA, and SSO across G Suite, Bitbucket, Jira, and Zoom.
19. Monitor the Teramind dashboard for policy compliance and security alerts.

20. Support vulnerability checks using Burp Suite and assist in remediating identified issues.

21. Cloud & Application Support

22. Support Bitbucket repository access management and deployment coordination.

23. Assist in GCP/OCI resource monitoring, IAM policy reviews, and logging.

24. Help maintain secure configurations for cloud instances and API endpoints.

25. Collaboration Tools & IT Support

26. Manage and secure access for users in GSuite, SharePoint, Whale, Jira, and Zoom.

27. Help new employees onboard and provide IT setup support.
28. Ensure compliance with RChilli's IT and Security policies.

Qualification Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Professional certification is a plus

Required Skills and Knowledge

• 0–2 years of hands-on experience in IT Support / System Administration / Security Operations.
• Basic understanding of Linux commands and system-level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP / AWS).
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceDesk), Desktop Central Endpoint (ManageEngine) and version control systems (Bitbucket).
• Awareness of security practices such as MFA, DLP, and password management.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Knowledge or Tools Exposure
