Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.

  • Develop and execute on-page SEO strategies including content optimisation, internal linking, and meta tag creation.

  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify issues related to crawl ability, indexing, and site performance.

  • Optimize website structure, sitemaps, , and schema markup for better search visibility.

  • Monitor and analyse website performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

  • Build and manage backlink strategies to improve domain authority.

  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all campaigns.

  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

  • Prepare and present SEO performance reports to stakeholders and recommend actionable improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (25 years) as an SEO Specialist, Digital Marketer, or related role.

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.

  • Understanding of content marketing strategies and how SEO integrates with them.

  • Experience with technical site migrations, international SEO, or eCommerce SEO.

  • Strong copywriting/editing skills for SEO-optimized content creation.
