As an experienced analyst joining our Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving the understanding, growth, and success of our product. Your deep technical skills and analytical experience will be instrumental in working with our nascent data infrastructure to identify, monitor, and impact key metrics, ultimately helping us make better decisions. You should thrive in a scrappy, independent environment and be excited about making a significant impact as part of a new team. Responsibilities: - Use data to influence product team roadmaps and business decisions. - Collaborate with product teams to establish goals and define key metrics for existing features and new releases. - Rapidly design experiments in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and iterate on results. - Enhance our understanding of user behavior patterns and identify new product opportunities. - Develop automated dashboards and reports to increase awareness and comprehension of key metrics and experiment outcomes. - Partner with Data Engineering to create core data sets for operational and exploratory analyses. Requirements: - Demonstrated track record of using quantitative analysis to impact business or product decisions. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex analysis results. - Minimum of 4 years experience in writing production datasets in SQL/Hive or building internal/production data tools in a scripting language (Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience. - Proficiency in common statistical applications and methods such as experimentation, probabilities, and regression. - Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS/JS. - Background in a quantitative field academically or professionally. - Bonus points for experience in software engineering and predictive modeling in a big data environment.
