Job Title: Design/Sr. Design Engineer/Design Manager - Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Design

Location: Delhi NCR

Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Design

  • Will be working as a lead designer for
    AV systems for structured cabling systems commercial offices, auditoriums, and specialized spaces
    for global customers requiring accuracy, rapid turnaround, and compliance to global AV standards (AVIXA/ISO/IT norms)
  • Designing of Audio-Visual Solutions
    including display layouts, speaker placement, video conferencing systems, control systems architecture, AV over IP distribution, signal flow diagrams, and rack layouts using
    Visio, AutoCAD, BIM/3D CAD software
  • Create designs/BoQs (Bill of Quantity
    ) for large office campuses, meeting rooms, and auditoriums
    using Autocad/Visio/Excel/Powerpoint from the given architectural layouts/customer design briefs with compliance to global standards
  • Will be responsible for
    presales solutions, technical discussions, and customer interactions
    via web meetings, on-site visits, and in-person sessions for design presentations, addressing queries, ensuring compliance and validation
  • Preparation of end-to-end Bill
    of as per finalized designs by analysing customer RFP briefs, designs, drawings, and creating solutions based on multiple AV brand options like
  • ○ Crestron, Extron, AMX, Shure, Biamp, QSC, Bose, LG, Samsung, Poly, Cisco, Kramer
  • Will be responsible for presales activities, meeting customers, making presentations, audio/video calls
  • Deep interlock with marketing, commercial, project teams for proper & accurate designs
  • Must preferably hold AV OEM certifications (or CTS/CTS-D) and should be comfortable working on consultants' drawings and specifications
  • Should possess working knowledge of
    BIM/LOD modeling trends in AV industry
    for collaborative projects
  • May lead a team of Draftsmen/Design Engineers on project basis

For Sr design/manager roles:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of 2–3 Draftsmen, Design Engineers, and PreSales professionals, ensuring effective task allocation and timely project delivery
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to team members to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Review and validate design deliverables prepared by the team, ensuring alignment with AVIXA/ISO standards and organizational best practices.

Travel:

  • Be willing to travel across India on short notice to meet the customers and check design implementation/deviations/QC the on-site implementations.
