Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager - Distribution, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Deputy Manager will oversee the distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with logistics partners, supporting warehouse operations, analyzing distribution performance, and improving supply chain strategies. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with safety standards and optimizing transportation routes to ensure cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in distribution management, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, supply chain optimization, and performance improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, transportation planning, and regulatory compliance in supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred. MBA or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with working in an agri-business environment and experience with ERP systems and supply chain software are beneficial.
