B. Job Objective

Job Purpose

The Deputy General Manager – Project Portfolio & Governance is responsible for overseeing the organization's project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and implementing governance frameworks for effective project execution. This role involves managing multiple projects, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

C. Primary Responsibilities

Functional Skill
  • Expertise in project portfolio management and governance frameworks. 
  • Strong knowledge of PMO methodologies and tools. 
  • Financial acumen for budgeting and cost optimization. 
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

D. Role Requirements / Specifications

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Desired Experience
  • 15–20 years in project management with at least 5 years in portfolio governance leadership roles.


Knowledge & Skills
  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred
  • Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and compliance requirements.
