Key Responsibilities

1. Order Handling & Coordination

  • Communicate with buyers for order details, clarifications, and approvals.
  • Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, and specifications.
  • Prepare costing, quotations, and samples.

2. Sampling Management

  • Coordinate with sampling team for Proto, Fit, PP, and Size set samples.
  • Ensure samples are made as per buyer specifications.
  • Follow up for sample approvals on time.

3. Production Follow-up

  • Prepare Time & Action (T&A) plans for each order.
  • Coordinate with production, cutting, sewing, washing, printing, and finishing teams.
  • Ensure production is running as per schedule.

4. Material & Trim Sourcing

  • Coordinate with vendors for fabric, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
  • Ensure timely approvals and on-time delivery from suppliers.

5. Costing & Order Confirmation

  • Work out costing (fabric, trims, labor, overheads).
  • Negotiate rates with suppliers.
  • Get final cost approval from management and buyer.

6. Quality Coordination

  • Work with QA to ensure product quality meets buyer standards.
  • Organize inline, midline, and final inspections.
  • Resolve quality-related issues immediately.

7. Shipment & Documentation

  • Coordinate with logistics for shipment booking and documentation.
  • Ensure all packing instructions and labeling are followed.
  • Prepare and maintain shipment records.

8. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain order status reports.
  • Update T&A weekly.
  • Prepare buyer communication records.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills (email & verbal).
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Expertise in Excel, T&A, costing, and documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Time management & multitasking skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma in Fashion, Textile, or Apparel.
  • 15 years of merchandising experience (depending on level).
