About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager – Plumbing to take full ownership of large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical expertise, leadership capability, and strong project governance skills. This role requires effective coordination across stakeholders, departments, and timelines—from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Full responsibility for end-to-end plumbing execution including water supply, drainage, firefighting, STP/ETP systems—ensuring completion in line with BOQ, approved drawings, and bar chart milestones.
  • Client & Consultant Coordination: Liaise with clients and consultants for design approvals, technical resolutions, and seamless communication. Ensure client satisfaction through regular engagement and timely handovers.
  • Billing & Fund Flow Management: Timely preparation and submission of client bills. Follow up for fund realization as per contract milestones and approved progress.
  • Cross-Department Supervision: Lead, guide, and synchronize efforts across QS, Estimation, Design, and Execution teams. Provide technical advisory and oversight to align all teams toward project goals.
  • Planning & Target Achievement: Drive micro- and macro-level scheduling, track bar chart progress, and manage manpower and machinery to meet weekly/monthly targets efficiently.
  • Resource & Cost Optimization: Monitor and manage resources for optimal productivity. Ensure disciplined utilization of manpower and equipment.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Finalize scopes, coordinate with vendors, monitor delivery and compliance with contract specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct technical reviews, implement QA/QC processes, perform inspections, and ensure project delivery meets approved standards and client expectations.
  • Site Governance: Enforce site discipline, HSE protocols, and ensure statutory compliance. Promote a culture of safety and precision across all site operations.
  • Progress Reporting: Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Proactively flag risks, delays, and corrective strategies.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Develop a high-performance project culture, mentor junior engineers, and ensure accountability across the project life cycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 10 years in plumbing/infrastructure project execution, including 3 years as project lead
  • Expertise in BOQ analysis, budgeting, estimation, and construction sequencing
  • Hands-on experience with MS Project, Primavera (preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and documentation control systems
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of NBC, safety standards, and plumbing codes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹674, ₹1,300,000.00 per year
