ONLY CANDIDATE WHO SPEAKS TAMIL ENGLISH BOTH ARE REQUESTED TO APPLY SINCE THIS ROLE INVOLVE DEALING WITH LOCAL VENDORS GOVERNMENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS MUST Reporting To Project Director Company Director Supervises Project Engineers Supervisors Foremen Labour any other site staff Employment Type Full-Time Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion This role ensures projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality and safety standards while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders Key Responsibilities - Project Planning Scheduling - Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines resource allocation and procurement strategies - Draw up detailed plans for each stage of the project and set benchmarks for deliverables - Monitor and control project budgets and schedules ensuring adherence to financial and time constraints Team Leadership Coordination - Select lead and supervise project teams including engineers architects contractors and subcontractors - Assign tasks set goals and ensure team members understand project objectives - Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment - Stakeholder Management - Act as the primary point of contact between clients architects engineers and other stakeholders - Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication and address project challenges - Contract Vendor Management - Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to reach profitable agreements - Manage project documentation including contracts permits drawings and change orders Quality Safety Compliance - Ensure compliance with safety regulations legal requirements and local building codes - Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures - Conduct project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions - Reporting Documentation - Prepare and submit project reports cost forecasts and progress updates to stakeholders - Maintain accurate records of project activities changes and communications The Project Manager may be required to visit construction sites frequently to ensure work is progressing according to plan and standards This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction and the overall success of construction projects Required Skills Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in civil engineering construction management architecture or a related field - 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery - Strong knowledge of construction methodologies building codes and safety regulations - Proficiency in project management software and tools e g MS Project AutoCAD BIM - Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills - Strong problem-solving analytical and time management abilities
