Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data cleaning and validation strategies using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables and Google AppScript
  • Design and maintain robust data warehousing solutions that ensure data integrity, consistency, and optimal performance
  • Create automated data processing workflows using Google AppScript to streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting
  • Perform complex data quality checks, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, duplicates, and anomalies
  • Build and maintain sophisticated Excel dashboards and reporting tools for cross-functional teams
  • Develop custom scripts and automation tools to enhance data processing efficiency
  • Collaborate with data teams to establish and enforce data governance standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement preventive measures

Required Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel:

VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIF, array formulas

Advanced pivot table and data modeling techniques

Google AppScript:

Script development for data automation

Integration with Google Workspace

API interactions and custom function creation

Data Cleaning Techniques:

Data transformation and normalization

Handling missing values and outlier detection

Regular expression-based data cleaning

Data Warehousing

Dimensional modeling

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

Star and snowflake schema design

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Proactive approach to continuous learning and process improvem
