As part of our next phase of growth, we are seeking a
Chief Technical Officer (India)

to lead our operations, build high-performance teams, and scale product development

and delivery for strategic government and enterprise customers.

Role Overview:

The Chief Technical Officer will be responsible for driving 's growth and

execution in India. This role demands a unique blend of technical depth, operational

excellence, and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee AI product

development, defense program execution, industrial deployments, investor relations,

and cross-border collaboration with our global teams.

  is technical and product leadership—driving AI product

development and ensuring high-impact deployments.

• Around
  15%
  is business development and partnerships, building relationships

with government, defense, and enterprise clients.

• Another
  15%
  is strategic leadership and operations, scaling teams and ensuring

execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Product Leadership (~70%)

• Drive end-to-end AI product development life cycle:
  data integration, model

development, validation, deployment, and scaling.

• Ensure physics-informed, real-time, and ROI-driven solutions for

mission-critical applications.

• Oversee defense AI projects (e.g., iDEX ADITI, AI-as-a-Service,

Fiber-optic sensing, R&D in Generative AI)

• Oversee industrial deployments: water midstream OS, industrial analytics, ESP

equipment and run life optimization, and BESS programs.

• Collaborate with U.S. and global R&D teams for cutting-edge innovations in
• Time Series Data Mining, Prognostic Health Management, and Digital

Twins.

2. Strategic Leadership & Operations (~15%)

• Provide strong leadership to position as the go-to AI partner for

Defense, Manufacturing, and Energy sectors in India.

• Oversee daily operations, including product development, customer delivery,

compliance, and financial governance.

• Build and scale high-performing cross-functional teams (engineering, business

ops, BD, and program management).

• Represent with
  government agencies (MoD, DRDO, iDEX, PSU),

enterprise partners, and investors.

3. Business Development & Partnerships (~15%)

• Develop long-term partnerships with defense stakeholders, oil & gas majors,

steel manufacturers, utilities, and EPC companies.

• Manage government grants, strategic MoUs, PoCs, and technology

commercialization pathways.

• Engage with investors, VCs, and incubation partners to strengthen 's

presence in India.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications

• Around 10 years in AI/ML product development, defense technology, or

industrial digital transformation.

• Proven track record of leading AI or deep-tech teams (preferably in Defense,

Energy, or Manufacturing).

• Strong grasp of
  SCADA/PLC systems, IoT, time series analytics, and

digital twin platforms.

• Solid understanding of defense program execution, Indian procurement cycles,

and iDEX/DRDO/MoD frameworks.

• Demonstrated P&L ownership, operations scaling, and investor-facing

experience.

• Technical degree (Engineering/Computer Science/Physics); Master's/PhD

preferred.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup

environment.

• High integrity, resilience, and ability to inspire teams under pressure.
