Job Title: US Accountant - Join our Dynamic Team
Location: Mohali, India
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented US Accountant with a passion for numbers and a deep understanding of accounting principles? Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance. - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices. - Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including tax calculations and reporting. - Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience as a US Accountant or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and US GAAP. - Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. - Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - High ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality. - CPA certification or progress towards CPA is highly preferred.
