Purpose of Position

  • The job incumbent is responsible for Registration of samples received in lab (follow up with client) of Lab business for Construction services laboratory.
  • The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

Major Responsibilities

  • Receiving the samples and checking as per customer letter.
  • Follow up with clients to get data required for Raising Job Orders as per customer request and allotting samples to concerned divisions.
  • Timely submission of report after approval to Client via: Mail, Fax or Courier.
  • Responsible for sending Proforma Invoices & test reports to clients
  • Keep track of all phone calls and emails and ensure the client requests are attended in time
  • Follow-up with other branches for reports sent for testing
  • Prepare MIS reports (RFQs, Quotes, Pending reports etc) and ensure these reports are received by relevant personnel.
  • Keep track of all job orders along with report status.
  • Coordinate with the Manager lab, other engineers to ensure all the requests are attended.
  • Maintenance of printer and Keep track of all Letterheads used for printing reports.
  • To assist Operational team in NABL and other documentation

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

  • Maintain timely registering of job orders
  • Ensuring zero customer complaints
  • Follow HSE norms and good housekeeping in working area
  • Maintain all records as per quality systems guidelines
  • Maintain good personal relationships and shall maintain office decorum
  • One improvement / suggestion per month (Service, Deliverables, Cost reduction etc.)
  • Adherence to environmental and safety policies of our organization
  • Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
  • Internal and external customer service satisfaction (number of complaints: Nil)
