We are looking for Country Head with an ideal profile as below
I. Job Overview
·
In the first year after joining
: provide strategic market-entry consultations; conduct an in-depth analysis of consumer behavior toward foreign imports, and develop a 2–3 year business action plan aligned with the company's brand positioning.
From year 2 onwards:
·
Business Development:
Focus on expanding market share, increasing sales, and enhancing brand visibility.
·
Distribution:
Broaden distribution channels while strengthening relationships with existing partners
·
Compliance:
Oversee adherence to procedures and sales policies, including MOU/DA signings and timely, budget-controlled payment processes for distributors (e.g., quarterly and annual bonuses, trade marketing reimbursements).
·
Team Management
: Handle personnel-related responsibilities and ensure effective team performance
II. Candidate Profile Requirements
· Proven experience working with emerging foreign companies seeking entry into the Indian market.
· Currently based in Mumbai or Delhi, or willing to relocate to either location.
· Over 10 years of demonstrated success in pan-India international B2B sales—preferably within FMCG, non-alcoholic beverages, or agricultural products—with strong connections to key distributors and market expansion partners.
. Experienced in managing team of more than 5 members.
· Fluent in English (additional language(s) is a plus).
· Comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of import-export operations and global trade practices.
· Consistent record of achieving and surpassing sales targets while driving sustainable market growth.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and intercultural skills.
· Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
III. Qualifications:
· Indian citizen
· Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, International Marketing, or related field.
· MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
