Job Title: MEP EngineerJob Overview:

The MEP Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, coordination, and execution of
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)

systems in construction projects. The role ensures all MEP installations are technically sound, cost-effective, compliant with codes/standards, and integrated seamlessly with civil and architectural works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review MEP designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil/structural engineers, and contractors for system integration.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Prepare/review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings.
  • Perform technical calculations (load analysis, HVAC sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, pump head calculations, etc.).
  • Ensure all works comply with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and local building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues, and provide engineering solutions.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for material procurement and timely execution.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and support project scheduling.
  • Participate in value engineering, cost optimization, and energy efficiency solutions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and site supervision ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in MEP design, installation, and supervision.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Certifications in MEP design, BIM, or project management (preferred).
