Job Title: Data Architect - Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our enterprise data warehouse, ensuring its scalability, performance, and reliability. This role involves extensive data modeling, implementation of star schema designs, and leveraging Amazon Redshift for efficient data storage and retrieval. The Data Architect will also play a key role in enabling robust business intelligence and reporting capabilities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance data warehouse solutions, primarily utilizing Amazon Redshift.
  • Develop and maintain dimensional data models, including star schema designs, to support business reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance through tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies in Redshift.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the data warehouse environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and developers on best practices for data warehousing and modeling.
  • Document data models, data flows, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with emerging data warehousing technologies and trends, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a strong focus on data warehousing.
  • Extensive experience with dimensional modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema designs.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Amazon Redshift, including architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Experience with SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and their integration with data warehouses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty).
  • Experience with other cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data management principles.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: From ₹700.00 per hour
