**Overview**:
As a Data Architect within our healthcare setting, you will lead the design, development, and management of our data architecture to support efficient data storage, retrieval, analysis, and reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, define data requirements, and architect scalable solutions that drive informed decision-making and improve patient care outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring data accessibility, integrity, and security.
- Data Modeling and Design: Design and maintain data models, schemas, and structures to support healthcare-specific use cases such as electronic health records (EHR), patient management, clinical analytics, and research.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and HITRUST.
- Data Quality Management: Implement processes and tools for data profiling, cleansing, validation, and enrichment to maintain high-quality, reliable data for reporting, analysis, and decision-making purposes.
- Business Intelligence and Analytics: Collaborate with analytics teams to design and optimize data warehouses, data marts, and BI solutions for generating insights into patient populations, clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Data Security: Implement robust security measures, access controls, and encryption techniques to protect sensitive healthcare data against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.
- Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in data management, analytics, and healthcare IT to recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive business value and competitive advantage.
- Documentation and Communication: Document data architecture designs, standards, and processes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to foster understanding and alignment across the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a data architect or similar role in a healthcare setting, with a deep understanding of healthcare data domains, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio), database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and ETL/ELT and MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Semarchy, Talend).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
