Role Description: Person is responsible for supporting purchasing activities for OSAT, such as raw material, capex items, consumables, jigs and fixtures. Supporting commercial negotiations and providing analytical support to purchasing/commodity managers. Responsibilities: Manage cost and end to end RFQ's for OSAT business.Understand the technical data and specifications to run RFQ's, communicate equipment needs to suppliers.Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery & technical parameters.Negotiating with suppliers for best Terms and Conditions related to price, qty, schedule and quality.Evaluate suppliers and procurement strategies for efficiency and value.Reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities for both the supplier and the companyFacilitating communication b/w company stakeholders, manager and CFT members for procurementMonitor supplier deliveries and mitigate supply chain risks.Drive Supplier qualification and collaborate with stakeholders for timely completion. Requirements Skill/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in SCM, business, engineering or related field, MBA preferred.Minimum 5 yrs of domain expertise in strategic sourcing of electronics components or equivalent commoditiesExpertise in managing electronics components (Active/Passive) or OSAT suppliers.Hands on experience in managing multiple RFQ's, negotiation skills to finalize commercial terms & conditions.Experience in Supplier selection and business awardsGood understanding of the market conditions and component trendsGood communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to make decisions with minimal guidance.Willing to work in ambiguous environment to enable customer success.
