Placement Officer - Job Description

Job Summary

Taxila Business School, an AICTE-approved institution in Jaipur, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Placement Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the placement and corporate relations process. This role is crucial for ensuring our students secure rewarding career opportunities and for strengthening the school's ties with the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve high placement rates for students.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and industry professionals.
  • Coordinate and manage all campus placement activities, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and final offers.
  • Provide career guidance and counseling to students, helping them prepare for interviews and create effective resumes.
  • Organize and conduct workshops, training sessions, and mock interviews to enhance students' soft skills and industry readiness.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of student profiles, company contacts, and placement records.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to align the curriculum with current industry needs and trends.
  • Represent the school at various industry events, conferences, and job fairs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an academic institution.
  • A strong network of corporate contacts is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting
