JOB DESCRIPTION (JD06)

Position: Quality Control Engineer. (JSW/SAI Ref: Quality Technician & Quality Inspector)

Designation: Jr Engineer/ Staff

Experience: 03 to 05 Years

Value Stream: Quality Incoming, Assembly, Integration and Testing

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics OR Electronics & Communication

Job Description: Quality Control Execution, Inspection, Testing of UAV sub-assemblies and Assemblies

Job Responsibility:

  • Quality Inspection of Material/ item being received at incoming stage, Assembly, Integration and testing of UAV (experience in LV / Missile is also acceptable).
  • Development of Quality Data Pack related to Material, BOI and Detail Parts including development of inspection plans/procedures/WI and methods suitable for mass production.
  • Knowledge of AIT processes and related Quality In-process.
  • Handson experience of Harness manufacturing and PCB integration as per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610.
  • Performing final testing/ Pre-Functional Test as per Acceptance Test Plan and maintain inspection record.
  • Planning, Scheduling and Executing daily inspection activities.
  • Capture deviations during inspections, preparing NCR and performing RCA along with implementation of Corrective action.
  • Cross Functional Work Experience to collaborate and mitigate problems. Strong knowledge in RCA tools, CAPA expected.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD/ JSS for conducting Environmental and EMI/EMC testing.
  • Experience in clearances of Ground Handling Equipment and Ground Support Equipment and its associated assemblies.
  • Preparation of final documentation for customer as per pre-defined format.
  • Basic knowledge of Materials, BOI, Standard Items, LRUs, PCBs and Detail parts and its Quality clearances.
  • Experience in Operation of Test Equipment's, Electronic Testing, CMM, Other 3D Measurement
  • Exposure to Customer, regulatory Clearances and audit processes.
  • Basis knowledge about APQP, PPAP, FAI, PFMEA, including basic knowledge NDT, DT and Special Processes.
  • Work Experience in ERP, PLM and related production systems for management of Quality execution.
