Roles & Responsibilities

1.Delivery for a range of sustainability services and may have some basic understanding in several of them, including:

  • Sustainability Report Assurance
  • ESG, green bonds & sustainable finance consulting
  • Digital Assurance including digitally enabled supply chain solutions for transparency, track, and trace
  • Supply chain sustainability & risk management
  • Climate change
  • Decarbonization
  • Sustainability strategy

2.Support projects and help ensure consistent and high-quality customer care through the following activities:

  • Proactively seeking to identify customer needs throughout the course of delivering sustainability solutions
  • Developing tailored solutions with our technical experts to ensure that we can effectively support our customers in their ESG objectives
  • Coordinating projects, ensuring they are executed to clients' expectations, on time, on budget and to Intertek quality standards
  • Leading and communicating effectively within the other sustainability team members and clients

This role will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and care through effective delivery of project deliverables, maintaining project timelines, and responding to customer needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably (Energy management System, or Environment management system, MEP or Environmental engineering).
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in the field of Sustainability Reporting and Assurance

Professional Expertise:

  • Demonstrate understanding of key issues and trends in ESG, Sustainable Finance and wider Sustainability areas.
  • Effective Communication - communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively. Builds network. Constructive Teamwork - co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience, and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals.

Behaviours & Aptitude:

  • Good understanding in ESG/sustainability, Decarbonization, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to proactively initiate new initiatives, grow from a small base and operate under quick experimentation high ambiguity environment.
  • Willingness to reach out to clients for business development matters and preparation of proposals.
  • Willingness to travel and work in India and on occasions overseas.
  • Analysis & Judgement - quickly understands and analyses complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgements
