Senior Sustainability Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Sustainability Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability practice, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable solutions for our clients.

  1. Develop and implement sustainable solutions for our clients:
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in our clients' operations and supply chains.
  • Develop and implement plans to reduce waste, emissions, and other negative environmental impacts.
  • Collaborate with our clients' teams to ensure successful implementation of sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan and execute projects related to resource efficiency, renewable energy, and cleaner production.
  • Sustainability Research: Conduct primary and secondary research on various topics related to sustainability.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and deliver presentations to clients on sustainable solutions and best practices.
  • Team Management: Supervise and guide junior team members in their tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a relevant field such as engineering, environmental management, economics, or a related domain with appropriate intersect with sustainability.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in consulting or industry roles related to sustainability, resource efficiency, circular economy, sustainability target setting, carbon accounting, ESMS frameworks, ESG due diligence, and/or ESG governance.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards or frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Integrated Reporting (IR), CDP, and Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
