Job Overview

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager for our operations in Bangalore Rural. This full-time, junior-level position requires a maximum of 6 years' work experience. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the purchasing operations and ensuring strategic sourcing processes align with organizational goals. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors and internal teams to support business objectives effectively.

  • Analytical skills to interpret data for decision-making and to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ability in cost reduction strategies to achieve budgetary objectives and improve company profitability.

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that support the organization's objectives and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery performance, and adherence to contractual terms.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, innovations, and potential suppliers to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and align purchasing activities with project needs.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations, optimizing storage and costs.
  • Utilize ERP systems for tracking, verifying orders, and maintaining purchasing data integrity.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve best value contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor and report on purchasing activities and outcomes to senior management, offering insights for process improvement.
