Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Purchasing Manager located in Parawada SEZ location.

The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining inventory levels.

The role involves coordinating with various departments, monitoring market trends, and preparing purchasing reports.

The Assistant Purchasing Manager will also assist in developing purchasing strategies and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key skills:

  • Experience in capex and engineering items procurement, negotiation, and supplier management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software systems
  • Bachelor's degree is must, Business Administration, or related PG is an added advantage
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is must
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge in handling of SAP activity
