The L1 Telecaller will be responsible for reaching out to prospective students and parents, providing accurate information about the institutes courses and admission process, and generating leads for enrollment. This role is the first point of contact for inquiries and plays a vital role in supporting the admissions team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective students/parents based on databases, inquiries, and leads.
  • Provide details about programs, eligibility, fee structure, and admission procedures.
  • Handle inbound calls, answer admission-related queries, and maintain a professional and positive interaction.
  • Record all student inquiries, feedback, and follow-up actions in the CRM or database.
  • Regularly follow up with interested candidates to guide them through the admission process.
  • Transfer potential leads to the next level (L2 Telecaller/Admissions Counselor) for counseling.
  • Support in admission campaigns, promotional activities, and events as required.
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call and lead conversion targets.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Minimum Engineering Graduate/Graduate with any any discipline.
  • Experience: 1-3 year in telecalling/education counseling/customer service (freshers can apply).

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of additional regional languages will be an advantage).

  • Confidence in handling student and parent queries politely and effectively.
  • Good persuasion and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM data entry etc.)
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Performance Indicators

  • Number of calls made per day.
  • Number of qualified leads generated.
  • Follow-up and conversion ratio in application Forms.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
