Job Title: QA Manager

Engagement: Freelance (Remote/Project-based)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Manager (Freelance) with over 10 years of experience in leading QA initiatives, creating QA strategies and test plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The candidate will be responsible for driving the QA process end-to-end and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and processes for projects.
  • Oversee and guide functional, regression, performance, and automation testing.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide detailed QA reports, metrics, and recommendations.
  • Mentor and support QA teams as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and bug-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
