Role Overview:

As the
Group Head – Copy
, you will lead a team of copywriters and collaborate with art, strategy, and client servicing teams to deliver compelling, insight-driven campaigns. You will be responsible for developing creative concepts and ensuring copy excellence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of copywriters across multiple brands and campaigns.
  • Conceptualize and execute impactful campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, Planners, and Client Servicing to craft ideas that align with brand strategy.
  • Write and oversee high-quality copy for campaigns, ensuring tone, clarity, and messaging are on-point.
  • Pitch creative ideas to clients and internal stakeholders with conviction and clarity.
  • Guide junior writers with constructive feedback, mentorship, and career development.
  • Stay updated with cultural trends, language evolution, and media innovations to keep the work fresh and relevant.
  • Uphold and raise the creative bar of the agency's output.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience in a reputed advertising or creative agency.
  • Proven track record of successful campaigns and award-winning work.
  • Strong command of language, conceptual thinking, and storytelling across media.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and brands with a cool head and a sharp pen.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
