Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Road Safety Engineer to join our civil engineering team for an ongoing road infrastructure project in Vadodara. The role involves ensuring road safety compliance across design and construction phases while implementing best practices to reduce accident risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Road Safety Audits (RSA) at design, construction, and pre-opening stages.
  • Review road geometry, junction layouts, signage, road markings, and traffic management plans for safety compliance.
  • Identify accident-prone locations (black spots) and recommend corrective engineering measures.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to implement safety recommendations.
  • Monitor on-site implementation of safety features such as crash barriers, signboards, markings, rumble strips, and pedestrian facilities.
  • Prepare and submit road safety audit reports, safety compliance reports, and drawings.
  • Participate in site inspections, authority reviews, and project safety meetings.
  • Support the company in maintaining safety documentation and closing audit observations.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Transportation / Highway Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in road/highway projects with hands-on road safety responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
