Job Overview

GoBabyGo Cabs Private Limited is seeking an experienced
Head of Fleet Operations
to lead and scale our
EV two-wheeler fleet rental operations
. This role is critical to ensuring high fleet uptime, strong rider performance, disciplined rent collection, effective recovery, and seamless day-to-day operations. The candidate will work closely with founders and senior management, owning the entire fleet lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management & Operations

  • End-to-end ownership of EV fleet deployment, utilization, uptime, and productivity
  • Monitor fleet health, vehicle availability, and downtime reduction
  • Ensure SOP adherence across all operational hubs

Rider Onboarding & Management

  • Oversee rider onboarding, KYC verification, training, and deployment
  • Manage rider allocation with partners (Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, etc.)
  • Track rider performance, attendance, and attrition

Rent Collection & Recovery

  • Ensure timely daily/weekly/monthly rent collection from riders
  • Design and enforce recovery processes for delayed payments and absconding cases
  • Coordinate repossession and redeployment of vehicles when required

Maintenance & Asset Care

  • Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of EVs
  • Coordinate with service centers, OEMs, and spare vendors
  • Control maintenance costs while maintaining fleet quality

Reporting & Process Control

  • Track and report KPIs such as utilization %, revenue per vehicle, cost per km, and recovery rate.
  • Work with the data/tech team to improve dashboards and MIS
  • Continuously improve SOPs, controls, and operational efficiency

Team & Vendor Management

  • Build, train, and manage fleet executives, supervisors, and hub teams
  • Manage vendors for maintenance, towing, charging, and logistics
  • Drive discipline, accountability, and performance culture

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in
    fleet operations, mobility, logistics, or EV rental
  • Proven expertise in
    fleet management, rider onboarding, rent collection, and recovery
  • Strong understanding of
    ground operations and last-mile delivery models
  • Experience managing multi-location or hub-based operations
  • Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience with EV two-wheelers and battery management
  • Exposure to B2B delivery platforms (Zomato, Swiggy, Rapido, Blinkit, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of GPS, telematics, and fleet tracking systems
  • Data-driven mindset with MIS and KPI ownership
