Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications. The role involves close collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable releases.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Define and implement effective test strategies for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify defects early and ensure consistent quality.
  • Analyze automation results and continuously enhance framework efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to QA and development teams.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with modern testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports, etc.).
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with BrowserStack, Docker, or cloud-based test execution.
  • Knowledge of performance testing or mobile automation.
  • Exposure to DevOps and GitOps practices.
