In-country is a British education management company launched in 2016 and now has a team of more than fifty people across Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore, and the UK. We manage the South Asian student recruitment operations for multiple blue-chip international universities and work on creative and exciting projects for many others. Position Overview:
This is an opportunity for an energetic and ambitious individual to join In-country's growing Dynamic team. The successful candidate will become a part of our HR team, driving recruitment and admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment cycle by sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates, ensuring the right talent is aligned with the company's goals and culture.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and role specifications to reflect evolving business needs and support effective talent acquisition.
- Coordinate and facilitate smooth onboarding processes, working with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires have a seamless and positive start.
- Manage employee account activations and deactivations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and data security protocols.
- Prepare, organise, and maintain accurate employee records related to hiring, exits, and leave management, while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and refining HR documents—including contracts, internal policies, and proposals—under the guidance of senior HR leadership.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries related to health, leave, conduct, POSH compliance, and other HR matters, offering thoughtful and informed support.
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR policies and procedures, and provide guidance to ensure consistency and understanding across the organisation.
- Deliver and support training initiatives on onboarding, compliance, and employee development to promote continuous learning and engagement.
- Monitor attendance and leave requests, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and statutory regulations.
- Collaborate with managers during performance review cycles to assess employee development needs and support career growth conversations.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance HR systems and processes, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and a more streamlined employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
