Role & responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
Drive sales of raw almonds (with shells) and other dry fruits to processors, agents, and large buyers.
Develop new accounts and expand business across domestic and export markets.
Meet assigned volume and revenue targets consistently.
- Market & Client Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with processors, shelling units, and wholesale agents.
Identify and onboard new customers while ensuring repeat business from existing buyers.
Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Industry Knowledge & Networking
Stay updated on dry fruit industry trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities.
Leverage personal network to connect with processors and trade agents.
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.
- Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Work with finance/accounts team to monitor receivables and credit control.
Maintain accurate records of sales, pipeline, and customer feedback.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
Experience: 5+ years in commodity sales, preferably in dry fruits, almonds, or agri-commodities.
Network: Strong connects with processors, agents, wholesalers, and large institutional buyers.
