About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Loan Recovery Agent to join our team at HOOQX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring effective recovery of payments. The candidate must have strong communication skills in Bengali and a proven track record in loan recovery or payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer accounts with overdue payments and ensure timely recovery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in Bengali, Hindi, and English to explain payment obligations.
  • Negotiate repayment schedules and settlements while maintaining professionalism.
  • Visit clients (if required) to follow up on overdue payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, recovery progress, and agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for legal escalation of chronic defaulters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines during recovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in loan recovery, payment collection, or debt management.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in Bengali (mandatory).
  • Good negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve recovery targets.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel for reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and collection processes will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in NBFCs, Banks, or financial service companies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented approach.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Payment Recovery: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Debt Recovery: 2 years (Preferred)
