Design Quality Assurance Manager (Submissions)

Location: Chennai or Kochi, India

Industry: Engineering & Design Consultancy (Vertical Transportation & Multi-disciplinary Projects)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Quality Assurance Manager (Submissions) to join our growing team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all technical deliverables (design reports, drawings, BIM models, and tender submissions) undergo a rigorous internal quality check before reaching our clients.

The position will serve as the final gatekeeper of quality, working closely with discipline leads, project managers, and document control teams to safeguard technical accuracy, compliance, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities


• Review all project submissions (drawings, reports, BIM outputs) for technical accuracy, compliance, and consistency.


• Implement and enforce internal quality standards, checklists, and templates.


• Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure error-free and integrated submissions.


• Maintain compliance with client-specific standards and local authority regulations.


• Provide assurance to management and clients that deliverables meet the highest quality benchmarks.

What We're Looking For


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture (Civil/MEP/VT preferred).


• 10+ years' experience in design consultancy, with strong exposure to QA/QC or peer review.


• Hands-on experience with BIM workflows and document control systems.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across disciplines.


• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems is an advantage.
