Role & responsibilities

Experience- 10-15yrs

Qualification:- B.E., B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering ( more than 10 yrs Experience)

Industrial Building construction at Roorkee.

Responsibilities:- The following responsibility required for this job

Civil Work Quality

Oversee substructure quality: excavation, PCC, RCC footing, pedestal works.

Check formwork, reinforcement, concrete mix, slump, and curing processes.

Monitor backfilling and compaction in accordance with specs.

Industrial Flooring, Machine foundations, Roadwork, Drainage and watersupply systems

Check the quality of the Civil work material as per IS code and specs.

PEB (Pre-engineered Building) Work Quality

Inspect incoming materials (steel structures, fasteners, anchor bolts, paints, etc.) for compliance with specifications.

Verify material test certificates (MTCs), third-party inspection reports, and other quality documents.

Ensure fabrication and erection confirm to approved drawings and quality standards.

Monitor PEB structure erection: column placement, rafters, bracing, sheeting, etc.

Conduct daily inspections of bolting, alignment, and paint/coating quality.

Check anchor bolt setting, base plate grouting, and column plumbness.

Documentation Scheduling & Reporting

Maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Checklists.

Prepare and maintain Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), Site Inspection Reports, and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).

Weekly/monthly Quality Reports.

Coordinate with client and consultants for inspections and approvals.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with client, Architect office civil/PEB and other relative stakeholder to resolve design and quality issues.

Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports when needed.

Safety Compliance

Ensure quality-related safety compliance (scaffold inspection, hot work area safety).

Monitor combust material safety practices (handling of chemicals, PPE usage).

Additional Skills Required:

Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and quality documentation systems.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Project Management role in Industrial PEB building or similar project.
