We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie Indian with 2 to 8 years of experience to join our team at The Leela. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and excellent culinary skills.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and tandoori items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage inventory of spices, herbs, and other ingredients used in Indian cooking.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Indian cuisine, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances used in Indian cooking.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible approach.
