Admission Counsellor/Front desk Executive

Job Summary: The Admission Counsellor will play a critical role in attracting and
enrolling students for JEE, NEET, Foundation, CUET, Crash Courses preparatory courses. This role involves providing comprehensive counselling to prospective students and their parents, managing the admissions process, and ensuring a smooth transition into the academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospective Student Counselling:
• Conduct informative counselling sessions with prospective students and their parents to
provide detailed information about the academ JEE, NEET, Foundation, CUET and Crash
• Course programs.
• Assess the educational background and career goals of students to recommend suitable
courses and study plans.
Admissions Process Management:
Handle all aspects of the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
- Assist students with the application process, including form filling, document
submission, and scheduling entrance tests/interviews if required.
Follow-Up and Conversion as well as In bond and Out Bond Customers:
Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students via phone, email, and in-person
meetings.
- Track and analyze conversion rates and devise strategies to improve enrollment
numbers.
Create new leads on Cold/Out bound Call
Information Sessions and Open Houses:
Organize and participate in information sessions, open houses, and other outreach
events to attract prospective students.
- Present the academy offerings, success stories, and unique selling points to groups of
prospective students and parents.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop effective
promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work closely with academic staff to stay updated on program offerings, changes, and
new initiatives.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective students and their families
in the admissions database.
- Provide regular reports on admissions statistics and trends to the Director of
Admissions.
Customer Service:
Address inquiries and resolve issues faced by prospective students and parents
promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of satisfaction and support throughout the admissions process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a
related field. A masters degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions counseling, educational
sales, or a related role, preferably within the JEE/NEET coaching industry.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the JEE and NEET examination systems,
admission criteria, and preparatory processes.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to build relationships and connect with students and parents.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant computer applications.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in educational counselling specifically related to JEE/NEET preparation.
- Familiarity with local and national educational trends and student preferences.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding enrolment targets.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with occasional travel for outreach
events.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for information sessions and
admissions events.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
