Job Summary:
The Receptionist cum Front Desk & Student Counselor will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors. The role involves managing front desk operations, handling telephonic and walk-in inquiries, providing basic counseling and course information, and supporting the admissions and administrative teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Reception Duties:
- Greet and assist walk-in students, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming calls and provide accurate information about courses, schedules, and admission procedures.
- Maintain a visitor log and ensure proper record keeping.
- Handle mail, courier, and general administrative tasks.
Student Counseling (Walk-in & Telephonic):
- Provide initial counseling to prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, fees, and career options.
- Follow up with walk-in and telephonic inquiries to convert leads into admissions.
- Explain institute policies, academic programs, and facilities clearly and positively.
- Coordinate with the counseling/admissions team for follow-ups and enrollments.
Administrative & Coordination Support:
- Maintain student inquiry and admission databases.
- Assist in scheduling counseling sessions, orientations, and academic meetings.
- Support marketing and admission campaigns (tele-calling, event coordination, etc.).
- Ensure the reception area and counseling desk are neat and presentable
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in front office, counseling, or student services.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10, ₹12,814.53 per month
