Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Survey Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing all surveying activities, precise layout, measurement, and monitoring of construction activities, providing critical data to project managers, engineers, and construction teams.

You will lead field teams, ensure compliance with approved drawings, and act as a key liaison between design and on-site execution.

Role & responsibilities

  • Conducting surveys using advanced equipment and techniques to gather accurate measurements and data, including topography, boundaries and existing structures.
  • Fixing the TBMs, GTS/GPS points accurately with the Total station and other instruments.
  • Should be familiar with tracing the coordinates and marking the same on the ground for execution of the different project activities like road, bridges, drains, manholes and pipe line works etc.,
  • Should be capable to coordinate with the designers in case of any discrepancies during marking any alignment as per the approved drawings.
  • Maintain the records of TBS, GTS/GPS points, levels of each layer.
  • Co ordinating with the site engineers and client to get approval of any level checking and arranging the level sheets to attach with the RFIs.
  • Utilizing software applications and computer-aided design (CAD) tools for data analysis and report generation, .
  • Monitoring and reviewing survey progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 10+ Years of Experience in Road, Bridge works, drains, pipe laying works
  • Strong knowledge of CAD, using advanced survey equipment's, reading drawings, picking up coordinates from the cad files and marking the same on the ground.
