Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements and design documents.
  • Good knowledge of SOAP & Restful APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of security testing.
  • Experience to work with IT Industries.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential testing challenges.
  • Execute test cases and document test results for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing).
  • Report and track defects using defect tracking tools, following the lifecycle from identification to resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
  • Review/testing process and propose improvements for increasing testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new testing tools and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for testing processes, standards, and testing results.
  • Prepare test summary reports to present to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train junior testers and new team members on testing best practices and methodologies.

Primary Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL for database testing.
  • Hands on Mobile testing (Android and IOS)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of SOAP and Restful APIs.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
  • Programming Language Java or other .

Secondary Skills:

  • Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.

Knowledge of performance and security testing is beneficial
