Primary Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed the monthly sales targets in terms of Value and number of files.
Identify and approach potential customers for secured loans.
2. Lead Generation and Development:
Generate leads through door-to-door campaigns, local marketing activities, and customer referrals.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
3. Customer Engagement:
Explain loan products, terms, and benefits to prospective customers.
Address customer concerns, handle objections, and provide customized loan solutions.
Ensure high-quality customer service throughout the sales cycle.
4. Loan Documentation and Processing:
Assist customers in completing loan applications and collecting required KYC documents.
Conduct preliminary checks to ensure document authenticity and completeness.
5. Collections and Customer Retention:
Educate customers about repayment schedules and terms.
Follow up with overdue customers to ensure timely repayments & also educate them.
Maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
6. Compliance and Ethics:
Adhere to all regulatory requirements (KYC, AML) and company policies.
Ensure ethical selling practices to protect the companys reputation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Knowledge:
Understanding of secured lending products and the loan lifecycle.
Familiarity with local demographics and customer behaviors.
Basic knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Skills:
1. Sales Skills:
Effective pitching, rapport building, and objection handling.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution.
3. Analytical Skills:
Assessing customer creditworthiness and identifying target customer profiles.
4. Technical Proficiency:
Experience using CRM software and digital tools for lead management.
Experience:
- 0-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in NBFCs, microfinance, or secured lending roles. Fresh graduates with strong local market knowledge will also be considered.
