Job description: - We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Material Management & Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient inventory control, procurement of materials, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will excel in managing material needs, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with vendors to support production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Raw Material Procurement: Source and procure raw materials, APIs, and excipients required for manufacturing in a timely and cost-effective manner.

2. Vendor Development & Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers; maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

3. Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity, and delivery timelines.

4. Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores and production teams to avoid material shortages or excess inventory.

5. Cost Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve optimal procurement costs.

6. Quality & Compliance Checks: Coordinate with QA/QC for technical specifications, vendor approvals, and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

7. Documentation & Records: Maintain proper procurement documentation such as quotations, comparative statements, PO copies, GRNs, and vendor certificates.

8. Coordination with Departments: Liaise with planning, production, and finance teams for procurement planning, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups.

9. Audit & Regulatory Support: Ensure all procurement activities are audit-ready and support vendor audits and inspections when required.
