Assistant Bodyshop Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management
Plan and oversee all body and paint repair jobs in the workshop.
Allocate work to technicians and painters based on skill and workload.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of repaired vehicles.
Monitor workflow efficiency, material usage, and turnaround time (TAT).
- Quality Control
Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure repair quality and paint finish meet OEM standards.
Conduct test drives or quality checks where required.
Implement safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop.
- Team Management
Supervise and train bodyshop technicians, painters, and estimators.
Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development sessions.
Maintain team discipline, attendance, and productivity records.
- Customer & Insurance Coordination
Liaise with customers and insurance surveyors for damage assessments and approvals.
Explain repair estimates, timelines, and process to customers.
Handle escalated complaints and ensure service recovery.
Maintain good relationships with insurance partners for smooth claim processing.
- Financial & Inventory Control
Prepare job estimates and ensure cost control in repairs and materials.
Monitor spare parts and paint material consumption.
Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the bodyshop.
Approve job cards, invoices, and insurance claim documents.
- Reporting & Administration
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on jobs, revenue, and productivity.
Track key KPIs such as Job Throughput, CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), and WIP (Work In Progress).
Ensure compliance with manufacturer and company policies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15, ₹32,396.06 per month
