Surface Treatment Engineer

We are looking for a Surface Treatment/Incoming quality Engineer to join our team at Usaka Engineers.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in paint, powder coating, electroplating, and other surface treatment processes relevant to sheet metal and tubular fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all incoming parts requiring surface treatment (paint, electroplating, etc.)
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain surface treatment SOPs and inspection standards.
- Conduct inspections and ensure defect-free coating, finish, and corrosion resistance.
- Support NPD and engineering teams with surface treatment process feasibility.
Handle customer audits and documentation related to surface finish requirements.
Monitor incoming BOP parts quality.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate should have sound knowledge of surface finishing Processes Like ACED, Powder coating , ZN plating Ni Cr Plating etc. This Include Substate condition , Pretreatment, Finishing Process and Defect phenomenon
Candidate should be able to do root cause analysis & take countermeasure jointly with supplier to achieve desired Quality consistency.
