Role Overview:

We are seeking an Architect with strong drafting and detailing skills to prepare accurate and clean CAD drawings specifically tailored for architectural scale model production. The candidate will collaborate closely with our modelling team to translate architectural drawings into simplified, production-ready linework that ensures accuracy, ease of fabrication, and visual clarity in models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings, masterplans, and interior layouts for conversion into scale-model-ready CAD drawings.
  • Prepare precise 2D CAD linework for laser cutting, CNC milling, and 3D printing.
  • Simplify complex geometries while maintaining design intent for model-making feasibility.
  • Coordinate with model-making and rendering teams to ensure proper scaling, material representation, and buildability.
  • Create layered CAD files (plans, elevations, façade details) with clear naming and hierarchy for efficient production.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all drafting work according to project specifications and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and production heads to resolve technical drafting challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Diploma in Architecture/Drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, or Revit is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, scaling, and detailing.
  • Experience in preparing drawings for laser cutting and CNC workflows (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Attention to detail, precision, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Interest in architectural model making is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
