Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with sales, design, and procurement teams to align production timelines.
  • Material Management
  • Monitor raw material availability and initiate procurement requests to avoid delays.
  • Track usage of substrates, inks, cartons, laminates, and other packaging materials.
  • Workflow Optimization
  • Allocate jobs to printing machines (offset, flexo, gravure, digital) based on capacity and job specifications.
  • Minimize machine downtime and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure product specifications and standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate MIS reports on production output, efficiency, and bottlenecks.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Inventory & Dispatch Coordination
  • Monitor finished goods inventory and coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics.
  • Ensure timely delivery to clients and maintain documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in PPC within the printing or packaging industry.
  • Strong understanding of printing processes (offset, flexo, gravure) and packaging workflows.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
