Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with sales, design, and procurement teams to align production timelines.
- Material Management
- Monitor raw material availability and initiate procurement requests to avoid delays.
- Track usage of substrates, inks, cartons, laminates, and other packaging materials.
- Workflow Optimization
- Allocate jobs to printing machines (offset, flexo, gravure, digital) based on capacity and job specifications.
- Minimize machine downtime and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
- Quality & Compliance
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure product specifications and standards are met.
- Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate MIS reports on production output, efficiency, and bottlenecks.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Inventory & Dispatch Coordination
- Monitor finished goods inventory and coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics.
- Ensure timely delivery to clients and maintain documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in PPC within the printing or packaging industry.
- Strong understanding of printing processes (offset, flexo, gravure) and packaging workflows.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
